Add water and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Strain the mixture and allow it to cool.

Drink the tea. Sweeten with honey if desired.

2. Preparing Poultices:

For Leaves:

Ingredients: Fresh Vitex negundo leaves.

Instructions:

Crush fresh leaves to release their juices.

Apply the crushed leaves directly to the affected area.

Cover with a clean cloth or bandage.

For Bark:

Ingredients: Dried or powdered Vitex negundo bark, warm water.

Instructions:

Make a paste by mixing the bark with a small amount of warm water.

Apply the paste to the affected area.

Cover with a clean cloth or bandage.

3. Creating Ointments:

For Leaves or Bark:

Ingredients: Dried Vitex negundo leaves or bark, coconut oil, beeswax (for a solid ointment), or olive oil (for a liquid ointment).

Instructions:

Grind or crush the dried leaves or bark.

Mix with a carrier oil (coconut or olive oil) to form a thick paste.

If desired, add beeswax for a solid ointment.

Heat the mixture gently, and then strain it.

Pour the liquid into a clean container and allow it to cool and solidify (if using beeswax).

4. Preparing Tinctures:

For Leaves or Bark:

Ingredients: Dried Vitex negundo leaves or bark, alcohol (e.g., vodka or rum).

Instructions:

Combine the dried leaves or bark with alcohol in a glass jar.

Seal the jar and store it in a cool, dark place for several weeks, shaking it periodically.

Strain the tincture and transfer the liquid to a clean bottle for use.
